Scott Moore has over
twenty–eight years of experience as an exploration/exploitation
geoscientist in the oil and gas industry with independent producers,
services companies and as a geological and computer applications
consultant. Before co-founding RDP, Scott worked in various positions
as a geoscientist, manager, and instructor with Transco Exploration Co.,
Home Petroleum, Core Laboratories, Schlumberger/GeoQuest, IHS Energy and
as an Independent Consultant.
-
His geoscience background
covers all phases of exploration and exploitation at both the prospect
generation level and in a management capacity. He has experience in
multiple geological provinces including East Texas, Louisiana, South
Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Permian Basin and the Gulf of Mexico.
-
Scott has significant
expertise and experience in database management and applications,
especially as it applies to integrated field studies. He is very
knowledgeable in the practical use of computer-based technology for oil
and gas property assessment, documentation techniques and strategic
reconnaissance. He is an accomplished data management specialist with
excellent knowledge of industry data sources and associated software
limitations and strengths. Scott is skilled at combining software
applications for identifying "overlooked" opportunities and upside
potential. He has developed techniques for the rapid identification of
regionally under-exploited potential and acquisition candidates based on
a combination of favorable geological characteristics and new drilling
technology. Scott also has substantial wellsite evaluation experience.
-
He specializes in generating
customized work products geared to the client’s specific needs. These
products are designed to provide the client with an ongoing benefit as a
“living document” for the properties evaluated. This also includes
effective property/prospect packaging for sale, farm-out, acquisition,
or divestiture.
-
His innovative approaches to
business development situations have lead to the implementation of new
systems leading to increased program efficiencies and enhanced
profitability.
